Penn Reel Salt Water Fishing Porcelain Sign – Fisherman, 11 3/4″

This Penn Reel porcelain sign shows a fisherman in a red shirt and hat leaning back against a bent rod on a blue sea, with a lighthouse on the horizon and a Penn saltwater reel in a yellow circle. “Make That Fish-Story Come True with a Penn Reel” and “A Fine Reel for the Sport Fisherman” sit at the top, and “Penn Fishing Tackle Mfg. Co.” runs in yellow across the black bottom.

Penn started making reels in Philadelphia in 1932 and became a top name in saltwater fishing. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The blue, yellow and black colors look great in a beach house, a boat shed, a bait shop or a man cave, and it makes a perfect gift for a saltwater angler, a deep sea fisherman or anyone with a good fish story.
