This is a vintage McCormick Manufacturing porcelain sign (also known as a McCormick porcelain advertising sign), measuring approximately 6 inches by 7 1/2 inches (rectangular shape). It features bold period lettering on deep blue: “RESPECTABLE GIRLS” in large white block letters with decorative framing, “WANTED FOR BISCUIT DEPT.” below, and “McCORMICK MFGG. CO.” at the bottom — a classic vintage biscuit factory advertising sign with humorous/quirky 19th-early 20th century labor recruiting.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
