Description
Mickey Mouse at the wheel of a steamboat is one of the most famous cartoon images ever drawn. This vintage Shell Gasoline porcelain sign pairs the beloved Walt Disney character with a Shell design, with amazing gloss and bright color on a 12″ round face.
Mickey made his big debut in Steamboat Willie in 1928, and the little captain at the wheel became a symbol of Disney itself. Shell’s yellow and red shell, a fixture at service stations, makes a colorful partner. This sign is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto steel for a glossy, durable surface made to last. It’s a fun piece for a garage, a game room, a kid’s room or a collection of Disney and gas signs.
