Herbie The Love Bug 53 Porcelain Sign – VW Beetle, 12″

This Herbie porcelain sign shows the famous white Volkswagen Beetle with its red, white and blue racing stripes and the number 53 on the door, set against a background of bold blue stripes. “Herbie” arches across the top, a big black 53 sits under the car, and “The Love Bug” is lettered in white on a red band along the bottom.

Herbie first raced onto movie screens in Disney’s The Love Bug in 1968 and went on to star in several sequels, making a little VW Beetle one of the most famous cars in film. The sign is real porcelain, with layers of glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, which gives it deep color and a smooth, glassy shine. It looks great in a garage, a game room or a kid’s room, and it makes a fun gift for a VW owner or a Disney movie fan.
