Description
This Aermacchi Harley-Davidson porcelain sign shows the orange and black Harley-Davidson Motor Cycles bar and shield in the center of a bright red field. “Aermacchi” arches across the top in white letters, with the white Aermacchi wings logo stretched across the circle above the shield.
Aermacchi was an Italian aircraft and motorcycle maker, and in 1960 Harley-Davidson bought into the company to build smaller bikes, which were sold under both names. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. It is a great fit for a garage, a bike shop or a man cave, and it makes a perfect gift for a Harley rider, an Italian bike fan or anyone who loves motorcycle history.
