Description
This vintage Harley-Davidson porcelain sign is a red bar sign that reads “I spend most of my life riding my Harley-Davidson, I just waste the rest.” Below it is Widman Motorcycle Repair of St. Louis, Missouri, “Gateway to the West,” with a round “Hold Tight” emblem showing a pinup riding a motorcycle.
Harley-Davidson was founded in Milwaukee in 1903, and riders have been putting sayings like this one on their garage walls ever since. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The long shape fits nicely over a workbench, a garage door or a home bar, and it makes a great gift for the rider who would rather be on the road.
