Mountain Dew Chip and Dale Porcelain Sign – Throwback, 1954, 12″

This Mountain Dew porcelain sign shows Chip and Dale, one in a brown fedora and one in a flowered Hawaiian shirt, standing beside a tall green Mountain Dew bottle. The “Ya-hooo! Mountain Dew throwback” logo sits at the top, and “1954” is printed at the bottom of the white field inside a red and green border.

Mountain Dew got its start in the 1940s, and Disney’s chipmunks Chip and Dale have been making mischief since 1943. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The green, red and brown colors look fun in a kitchen, a kid’s room, a game room or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a Disney fan, a Dew drinker or anyone who loves cartoon chipmunks.
