Description
This Smokey Bear porcelain sign is cut out around Smokey in his ranger hat marked “Smokey”, holding a U.S. Forest Service shield in front of him. The cream shield has “Forest Service”, a big “U” and “S” on each side of a green pine tree, and “Department of Agriculture” in green.
Smokey Bear has been reminding Americans that only you can prevent wildfires since 1944. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The brown, green and cream colors look great in a cabin, a lodge, a kid’s room or a den, and it makes a perfect gift for a forest ranger, a firefighter, a camper or anyone who loves the outdoors.
