Description
Any angler who has opened a well-used tackle box knows the Dardevle. This vintage porcelain sign carries the Eppinger’s name across the top and features the brand’s most iconic lure, with the look of a classic bait shop or lakeside general store counter sign.
Lou Eppinger started his tackle business in Detroit in the early 1900s, and his Dardevle spoon, famous for its red-and-white stripes, went on to become one of the best-known fishing lures in North America. The narrow banner shape suits the brand perfectly. It’s real porcelain, glass enamel fired onto metal, with excellent porcelain on both sides and a glossy finish made to last, so it looks just as good in a cabin, boathouse or den as it would in a tackle shop window.
