Description
This Texaco porcelain sign shows two pin-up service attendants in matching caps, one in green holding a dipstick and one in red holding a fuel nozzle, standing on either side of the Texaco star. “Let’s Check Your Oil” curves across the top, and “Oil Service” is lettered in big white type on the deep red band along the bottom.
Texaco’s red star with the green T was one of the most familiar logos on American roads, and its stations were known for friendly service. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. It looks great in a garage, a shop, a bar or a man cave, and it makes a fun gift for a Texaco fan, a car guy or anyone who loves pin-up art.
