Description
This vintage Shell porcelain sign shows a pin-up girl in a red and white uniform and cap filling up a red motorcycle at a tall red Shell pump. “Shell Gasoline” arches across the top and “Motorcycles” curves along the bottom in big yellow letters on a red ring, with a Shell emblem on each side.
Shell’s yellow and red scallop has been one of the best known logos on the road for more than a century. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The red and yellow colors stand out in a garage, a bike shop, a bar or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a motorcycle rider, a Shell fan or anyone who loves pin-up art.
