Esso G.I. Joe Porcelain Sign – A Real American Hero, 11 3/4″

This Esso porcelain sign shows the G.I. Joe team charging into battle on a blue tank with missiles flying, set against a red stripe across a white field. The Esso oval sits at the top, and the bold “G.I. Joe” logo with its red, white and blue flag and “A Real American Hero” fill the bottom inside a blue border.

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero was one of the biggest toy lines and cartoons of the 1980s. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The red, white and blue colors look great in a game room, a kid’s room, a garage or a man cave, and it makes a fun gift for a G.I. Joe collector, a veteran or anyone who grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons.
