Vintage Marlin Solid Top Side Ejection Porcelain Sign – Rifle, 12″

This vintage Marlin porcelain sign shows a Marlin lever action rifle receiver in a white oval, labeled “Solid Top” and “Side Ejection”. “The Sign of a” arches across the top in white, and “Marlin” sits along the bottom in big white script on a bright red field.

Marlin built its lever guns with a solid top receiver and side ejection so a scope could sit right on top, and it bragged about it in ads like this one. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, porcelain on front and back, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The red, white and brown colors look great in a gun room, a hunting cabin, a bar or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a hunter, a Marlin owner or a lever gun fan.
