Description
On a trail sign or a ranger station wall, Woodsy Owl is all about taking care of the great outdoors. This vintage porcelain sign features a really nice graphic of Woodsy the owl with the “Don’t Pollute” message, in bright, glossy color on an 11 3/4″ round face.
Woodsy Owl was introduced by the U.S. Forest Service in the early 1970s, and his slogan “Give a hoot, don’t pollute” became one of the best-known conservation messages in America. The friendly owl artwork is a natural fit for national park and outdoor collections. The sign is real porcelain, with glass enamel fired onto steel for a hard, glossy surface that’s made to last, a nice piece for a cabin, camper, classroom or den.
