Description
This vintage Sinclair porcelain sign shows Dino, the famous green brontosaurus, stretched across a white field. The red Sinclair script and green “Dino” sit in a shield at the top, and “Gasoline” runs below in bold red letters, all inside a thick green ring.
Sinclair started using its dinosaur in the 1930s, and Dino became a star at the 1933 and 1964 World’s Fairs. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The green and red colors pop in a garage, a shop, a kid’s room or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a car fan, a dinosaur lover or anyone who remembers filling up at a Sinclair station.
