This Texas US 66 porcelain sign is cut in the classic highway shield shape, with “Texas” across the top, “US” in the middle and a big “66” below, in bold black on a clean white field with a black border.
Route 66 crosses the Texas Panhandle for about 180 miles, through Shamrock, Amarillo and the Cadillac Ranch, and past the halfway point of the whole road in Adrian.
