Description
This vintage Pepsi-Cola porcelain sign shows a sunny beach scene: a woman in a red swimsuit and cat-eye sunglasses relaxes under a blue umbrella with a Pepsi bottle and a Pepsi-Cola bottle cap beside her. “Refresh without filling” is written on the left, the red Pepsi-Cola script tops the umbrella, and the sand and blue sky fill the rest.
“Refreshing without filling” was a Pepsi slogan in the 1950s, when the brand was courting a slimmer, sportier crowd. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. It brightens up a kitchen, a soda bar, a pool house, a beach house or a man cave, and makes a fun gift for a Pepsi fan or anyone who loves a day at the shore.
