Texaco Motor Oil Pin-Up Porcelain Sign – Red Bikini, 12″

This Texaco porcelain sign shows a brunette pin-up girl in a red two-piece and heels, bending forward and lifting the edge of her skirt beside the red Texaco star with the green T. “Texaco” arches across the top and “Motor Oil” curves along the bottom in white on a deep red ring, with small winged stars on each side and “1946” by her feet.

Texaco has been selling gas and motor oil under its red star since 1902, and pin-up art like this was a favorite in garages for decades. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The red, cream and green colors look great in a garage, a bar, a shop or a man cave, and it makes a fun gift for a Texaco fan, a mechanic or a pin-up collector.
