Description
This vintage Kodak porcelain sign has the classic camera store look: “Kodak” in big red letters across a bright yellow center band, with “We Sell” above and “Products” below in yellow on a deep red background. The center band sticks out past the edges, just like the dealer signs that hung outside drugstores and camera shops.
George Eastman launched the first Kodak camera in 1888 with the promise “You press the button, we do the rest.” It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, porcelain on front and back, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The red and yellow colors pop in a photo studio, a home office, a den or a man cave, and it makes a perfect gift for a photographer, a camera collector or anyone who remembers dropping off film.
