Description
This Sherwin-Williams Paints porcelain sign shows Woody Woodpecker on a stepladder with a dripping brush and a bucket of yellow paint, with “Sherwin-Williams Paints” around the top and “For all kinds of good painting” along the bottom of a navy blue ring.
Sherwin-Williams was founded in Cleveland in 1866, and Woody Woodpecker first appeared in a Walter Lantz cartoon in 1940. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. Hang it in a workshop, a paint room, a garage or a kid’s room, or give it to the painter or contractor who grew up on Saturday morning cartoons.
