Description
This vintage Vespa porcelain sign shows a classic orange Vespa scooter riding along a white band at the top, with the Piaggio logo above it. “Vespa” is lettered in big black letters across the middle with “19” and “56” on each side, and “Sales & Service” curves along the bottom in white on a dark gray ring, with blue and orange stripes behind.
Piaggio rolled out the first Vespa in Italy in 1946, and it soon became a symbol of carefree city riding all over the world. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The orange, blue and gray colors look great in a garage, a cafe, a game room or a man cave, and it makes a perfect gift for a scooter rider, an Italy lover or anyone who dreams of zipping through Rome.
