Description
This vintage Mobilgas porcelain sign shows a rider on a red motorcycle cruising across a stone bridge on a coastal highway, with blue ocean, cliffs and white clouds behind him. The red Pegasus and Mobilgas logo flies at the top, and “Mobilgas” runs across the bottom in big blue letters on white.
The flying red horse was Mobil’s symbol for decades, and it is still one of the best known logos on the road. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The blue, red and white colors look great in a garage, a bike shop, a beach house or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a motorcycle rider, a Mobil fan or anyone who loves a coastal ride.
