Vintage Winchester Model 70 Porcelain Sign – The Rifleman’s Rifle, 12″

This vintage Winchester porcelain sign shows a smiling pin-up girl in a red plaid shirt and blue jeans holding a Model 70 rifle across her body. “Winchester” arches across the top in red, “Model 70” sits on the left in black, and “The Rifleman’s Rifle” and “Bolt Action Repeating Rifle” curve along the bottom on a white field with a yellow border.

Winchester introduced the Model 70 bolt action in 1936, and hunters nicknamed it “The Rifleman’s Rifle.” Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The red, white and yellow colors look great in a gun room, a hunting cabin, a bar or a man cave, and it makes a fun gift for a hunter, a Winchester owner or anyone who loves a classic pin-up.
