Description
This vintage Texaco porcelain sign shows a pinup girl in a polka-dot bandana holding a fuel nozzle beside a red Texaco pump, with stars and stripes behind her. “Texaco Gasoline Filling Station” is lettered around the sign in red, white and blue.
Texaco was founded in Beaumont, Texas in 1902, and its red star with the green T became one of the best known marks on American roads. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. It is a great pick for a garage, a shop or a man cave, and a fun gift for anyone who loves classic gas stations and pinup art.
