Description
This vintage Mack Trucks porcelain sign shows the famous Mack bulldog peeking over a red dump truck with chrome stacks, on a deep red field. The Mack Trucks logo sits at the top in white, and “Sales & Service” curves along the bottom in white on a black band, with “Made in U.S. 1957” in small print.
Mack has been building heavy trucks since 1900, and the bulldog became its mascot because the trucks were known for being tough. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, porcelain on front and back, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The red, black and white colors look great in a garage, a truck shop, a bar or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a trucker, a diesel mechanic or a Mack fan.
