This is a vintage Black Cat Cigarettes porcelain sign (also known as a Black Cat service station gas pump plate), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic pin-up: a seductive brunette in black cat mask, black bodysuit with yellow belt and chains, crouched pose with arched back, “They Taste Better” slogan above, “BLACK CAT CIGARETTES” in bold yellow at the bottom, “MADE IN USA 1957” marking — a classic Black Cat Cigarettes advertising sign with risqué catwoman theme.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
