This is a vintage Bolen Blue Seal Gasoline porcelain sign (also known as a vintage Bolen gas service station pump plate), measuring 11 3/4 inches round. It features the classic sea lion mascot: a detailed blue sea lion perched on rocks with ocean and mountain backdrop, “BOLENE” arched at the top in white, “Blue Seal” in blue script across the center, “GASOLINE” curved at the bottom in white — a classic Bolen Blue Seal gasoline advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
