Description
This is a vintage Diamond D-X Motor Fuel porcelain sign (also known as a D-X gas service station pump plate), measuring 11 3/4 inches round. It features the classic mid-century branding: “DIAMOND” arched at the top in white on black, central red/orange diamond logo with “D-X” in bold black, “LUBRICATING MOTOR FUEL” curved along the bottom in white on red/orange chevron — a classic Diamond D-X gasoline and motor oil advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
