Description
This vintage Dr Pepper porcelain sign shows a cheerful gentleman in a top hat surrounded by the numbers 10, 2 and 4, with “Drink at ten two and four, 5¢ at fountains and in bottles” across the top and “Good for Life” below the Dr Pepper name, all inside a green border.
Dr Pepper was first served in Waco, Texas in 1885, and the 10, 2 and 4 slogan told people when to grab a soda for a quick boost during the day. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. Hang it in a kitchen, a home bar, a game room or a garage, or give it to the Texan who always orders a Dr Pepper.
