Description
This Fender porcelain advertising sign shows Sylvester the Cat in sunglasses and a gold chain, rocking out on a blue electric guitar with a bright yellow headstock. The big black Fender script runs across the white center, “1950” sits just below, and “Guitars & Amplifiers” follows the curve of the black ring at the bottom.
Leo Fender’s solid-body electric guitars changed the sound of rock, country and blues, and the Telecaster and Stratocaster are still on stages everywhere. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. Hang it in a music room, a home studio, a garage band space or a man cave, and give it to a guitar player, a Fender fan or anyone who loves Looney Tunes.
