Description
This vintage Houston Astros porcelain sign shows the Astrodome with baseballs orbiting around it like satellites, set on a burnt orange field with “ASTROS” in bold blue lettering. It is a bright, space age design that any Houston fan will spot from across the room.
Houston’s team began as the Colt .45s in 1962 and became the Astros in 1965, the year the Astrodome opened as the first domed stadium in the major leagues. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. Hang it in a game room, a garage, a home bar or a kid’s room, or give it to the Astros fan who never misses a game.
