Description
This vintage Mobil porcelain sign has the classic shield shape, with the red Pegasus galloping through the air above “Mobil” in heavy navy letters and “Premium” in red just below. A navy border outlines the white shield and its pointed bottom.
Mobil adopted the flying red horse in the 1930s, and Mobil Premium was the top grade at its pumps for years. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The red, white and blue look is easy to hang in a garage, a shop, a bar or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a Mobil fan, a road tripper or anyone who loves gas station history.
