Description
Out front of a small-town motorcycle shop, a bright Indian sign told every passing rider where to stop for parts and service. This vintage Indian Motorcycles porcelain sign features the Indian Motorcycles logo at the top, in red, gray, yellow and black on a 12″ round face with porcelain on both sides.
Indian was founded in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1901 and became one of America’s first great motorcycle makers, best known for the Scout and the Chief. Its flowing script is still one of the most recognized names in motorcycling. This sign is real porcelain, with glass enamel fired onto steel for a smooth, glossy finish made to last. The bold colors and biker theme suit a garage, a shop wall or a collection of motorcycle memorabilia.
