This is a vintage Marlin Solid Top Side Ejection porcelain sign (also known as a Marlin porcelain advertising pump plate sign), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic firearms advertising theme: “THE SIGN OF A” arched at the top in white on red, a central oval illustration of a Marlin lever-action rifle with “SOLID TOP” and “SIDE EJECTION” labels, “Marlin” in bold script at the bottom — a classic Marlin repeating rifles advertising sign highlighting the solid top receiver and side ejection features.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
