Description
Hot rodders know the big eyes of Moon Equipment on sight, from drag strip decals to shop jackets. This vintage Moon Eyes Speed Equipment porcelain sign features Casper the Friendly Ghost riding the crescent moon, in black, yellow and red on a 12″ round face.
Dean Moon’s Southern California speed shop made its name with aluminum gas tanks, spun wheel discs and racing parts, and the Mooneyes logo became a symbol of the whole hot rod scene. Pairing it with a friendly cartoon ghost gives this sign a fun, playful look. It’s real porcelain, with glass enamel fired onto steel for a glossy, durable surface made to last. Hang it in a garage, a speed shop or next to a collection of racing and cartoon signs.
