Description
Donald Duck under an umbrella with his nephews in a little red wagon is a fun ride for any gas and oil wall. This vintage Chevron Supreme Gasoline porcelain sign features Donald and Huey, Dewey and Louie riding in a wagon pulled by Pluto, with the Chevron chevrons and lettering and Supreme across the top and Gasoline at the bottom, on a light green 12″ round face with vibrant colors.
Chevron grew out of the Standard Oil Company of California, and Supreme was its premium gasoline. Donald Duck, his three nephews and Pluto are some of Walt Disney’s best-loved characters, and seeing them on a gas sign makes it a hit with cartoon and petroliana collectors alike. This sign is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel in a classic old design, for a hard, glossy finish built to last. It’s a great piece for a garage, a game room, a kid’s room or a Disney collection.
