Oilzum Motor Oil Porcelain Sign – The Flintstones Car, 12″

This Oilzum Motor Oil porcelain sign shows Fred and Barney riding in Fred’s stone-wheeled car, a big log roller across the front, on a white field. “Oilzum Motor Oil” is lettered at the top, and the round orange Oilzum badge with the goggled driver’s face sits at the bottom, inside a thin orange ring.

Oilzum motor oil was made by the White and Bagley Company of Worcester, Massachusetts, and its goggled driver was a familiar face at garages. The Flintstones first aired in 1960. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. Hang it in a garage, a game room or a man cave, and give it to a Flintstones fan or anyone who loves classic oil signs.
