This is a vintage Railroad Crossing porcelain sign (also known as a RR Xing train track signage, measuring 8 3/4 inches round. It features the classic railroad warning design: bold black “X” crossing symbol centered on a bright yellow background, “R” on each quadrant in black, thin black border ring — a classic railroad crossing caution advertising/safety sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
