Description
This is a vintage Signal Gasoline porcelain sign (also known as a Signal gas service station pump plate), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic traffic light theme: “SIGNAL” arched at the top in white on black, a central black traffic signal with red stop light above green “GO” light, “GASOLINE” curved at the bottom in white on black, “19” and “31” on the sides in yellow, yellow/red outer rings — a classic Signal Gasoline advertising sign from the 1931 era, emphasizing “go” for quality fuel.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
This vintage Signal traffic light sign makes a great addition to a garage, shop display, man cave, or any Signal Oil memorabilia collection, vintage gas station advertising collection, or petroliana collection.
