This is a vintage Smith-O-Lene Aviation Gasoline porcelain sign (also known as a vintage Smith-O-Lene gas service station pump plate), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic Snoopy mascot crossover: Snoopy as a World War I flying ace pilot in goggles and scarf, flying a green/red biplane with motion lines and RAF-style roundels, “SMITH-O-LENE” arched at the top in blue on white, “AVIATION” below, “GASOLINE” curved at the bottom in blue, “BRAND” centered — a classic Smith-O-Lene aviation fuel advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
