This is a vintage Smokey Bear Prevent Forest Fires porcelain sign (also known as a Smokey Bear advertising campaign pump plate), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic U.S. Forest Service Smokey Bear design. “PREVENT FOREST FIRES” started at the bottom — a classic Smokey Bear wildfire prevention public service advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
