This is a vintage Texaco Ethyl Gasoline porcelain sign (also known as a vintage Texaco porcelain enamel sign), measuring 11 3/4 inches round. It features the classic double-circle design: large red star with “TEXACO” in white at the top, green “T” logo inside, “WITH ETHYL” in yellow on black, “BRAND OF ANTI-KNOCK COMPOUND GASOLINE” in yellow on black triangle, “ETHYL GASOLINE CORPORATION” banner at the bottom in black on yellow, “NEW YORK, U.S.A.” and “REG. T.M.” markings — a classic Texaco Ethyl anti-knock gasoline advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
