This is a vintage Texaco Motor Oil porcelain sign (also known as a Texaco porcelain gasoline advertisement sign), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic 1946 pin-up girl illustration: “TEXACO” arched across the top in white on red, a brunette in a red bikini bending over with the “Texaco T” star logo centered below her, “MOTOR OIL” at the bottom, winged star accents on the sides, and “1946” date — a classic Texaco motor oil advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
