This is a vintage Volkswagen Service porcelain sign (also known as a vintage Volkswagen dealership service station pump plate), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic Beetle era branding: “VOLKSWAGEN” arched at the top in blue on orange, “SINCE 1949” centered above a detailed orange Volkswagen Beetle illustration with motion lines and whitewall tires, “SERVICE” in large white letters below, and “GENUINE PARTS” at the bottom — a classic Volkswagen approved service and parts advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
