Description
Two blue revolvers with wings spread behind them make this one of the boldest firearms signs on any wall. This vintage Colt Firearms porcelain sign features the Colt logo at the top, two revolvers in the center, “Revolvers, Automatic Pistols, Machine Guns” around the rim and Colt’s Patent Fire Arms Mfg. Company, Hartford, Conn. along the bottom, in red, black and blue on a 12″ round face.
Samuel Colt received his first revolver patent in 1836, and from Hartford, Connecticut, Colt’s Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company went on to build some of the most famous guns in American history, including the Single Action Army revolver and the M1911 pistol. This sign is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel for a glossy finish built to last. It’s a great piece for a gun room, a man cave, a garage or a collection of Colt memorabilia.
