Colt Firearms Porcelain Sign – Donald Duck Sheriff, 12″

This Colt porcelain sign shows Donald Duck as a sheriff with a revolver in each hand while his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie look on. The lettering reads “Colt Made It Right” and “Records Made It Famous,” with Colt’s Patent Fire Arms Mfg. Co., Hartford, Conn. around the red and yellow border.

Samuel Colt patented his revolver in 1836, and his Hartford company became one of the best known names in American firearms. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. It brings a little cartoon humor to a gun room, a garage, a man cave or a ranch office, and makes a fun gift for a Colt shooter or a Disney fan.
