This is a vintage Esso G.I. Joe porcelain sign (also known as an Esso gas station pump plate), measuring 11 3/4 inches round. It features the classic 1980s crossover: the Esso logo in blue/white oval at the top, a dynamic action scene of G.I. Joe team members (including Duke, Scarlett, and others) riding a blue tank firing missiles amid explosions and smoke, “G.I. JOE” in bold white/red/blue lettering, “A REAL AMERICAN HERO” slogan at the bottom — a classic Esso gasoline promotional sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
