This is a vintage Esso Aviation Products porcelain sign (also known as a vintage Esso gas service station pump plate), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic 1933 Disney crossover: Goofy in a red flight suit with goggles, flying an orange plane while waving, a flock of yellow baby birds flying around, “AVIATION PRODUCTS” arched at the bottom in white on green, “Esso” oval logo at the top, “MADE IN USA 1933” marking — a classic Esso aviation gasoline and oil advertising sign with early Disney licensing.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
