Description
This vintage Ford porcelain sign has the Ford script in white over a stars and stripes background of red, white and blue. “Born in Detroit” arches across the top, “Since 1903” sits under the logo, and “Made in America” curves along the bottom in white on a navy ring.
Henry Ford started the Ford Motor Company in Detroit in 1903, and the city has been called the Motor City ever since. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The patriotic colors look great in a garage, a shop, a den or a man cave, and it makes a perfect gift for a Ford owner, a Michigan native or anyone proud of American-made cars.
