Description
This Apollo Launch Team porcelain sign shows Snoopy in a space helmet and red scarf, floating along with his suitcase beside a tall white rocket lifting off through billowing clouds. “Apollo Launch Team” is lettered in big white type across a deep blue field, with lighter blue sky up top.
Snoopy became an unofficial mascot of the Apollo program, and the Apollo 10 lunar module even flew under the call sign “Snoopy.” Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. It looks great in a kid’s room, a home office, a game room or a garage, and it makes a fun gift for a space fan, an engineer, a pilot or anyone who grew up loving Peanuts.
